Crypto Roundtable: Highlights

Market and Legal updates from all corners of the globe, we had a great roundtable discussion with friends from the Blockchain side of things, Bart Cant, consultant in digital asset tokenization and AI technologies.  Also in attendance, representing International Legal and Tax advice as it pertains to Crypto with Estate Planning, Thomas Spaas. Part of the fun in this discussion is to unravel what better planning would have done to help a practice case scenario. Here we had a recent 18 year old who had both funds in a cold wallet and leveraged assets on an exchange. After an accident, he was in a coma but later passed away. Discussing this with insight, Demetre Vasoulis  now serving as Deputy Chair of the STEP Digital Assets Global Special Interest Group Steering Committee and incoming Vice Chair of the Ontario Bar Association’s Trusts and Estates Section Executive also joined us.
